Where have I been?

I’m alive, but writing is going to be slow for a while. I have become homeless as of recently, and am staying with some friends. Thank God I met these people. They’re a gift to me. I swear. I do not know how to repay them. Except for cooking. Come on, guys… food. No brainer, but I love to cook, and it makes me feel like I’m contributing.

I’ve been looking at some apartments, and have some more to see this week. I’m hoping to have a new home soon. I cannot keep crashing with these two when I care about them, and feel as if I’m invading their land. Of course movies, video games, and just randomness every night is a lot of fun.

People are placed before you for reasons you don’t know of. I found one of the reasons they were placed before me, and I am forever thankful.

So don’t worry guys, if you were. I’m alive, just slightly harder to reach. It’s hard to type on a phone, and much easier to jot off emails on the phone than posts. I have so much to catch up on, so forgive me if I haven’t responded. I’ll be getting to them, just will take a bit.

  1. I hear you! I have been in the same situation living with a wonderful friend for the past 4 months. It always surprises and humbles me when people come forward in a time of need and show you how much they care (and are willing to be put out by it)
I’ve just found a new place and will be moving in a few weeks. Hope you get settled yourself soon 🙂

    • It’s horrible. But the guys are awesome. They’re not rushing me to get out ( I think it’s the cooking). Though I did submit an application for an apartment, I just need to find a co-signer… surprisingly, I might have one already. A friend that is almost like a brother might be able to co-sign for me.
I’m glad you found a place as well, and hope it all works out for you.

    • Thanks hun. These friends are the greatest. I don’t know what I would do without them. They are completely amazing and wonderful. I’m glad people like them exist.

    • Aw, thanks Jaded. Yeah I just had a long conversation with my brother who was making me promise him to not harm myself. I have done it before, I hate scaring him, but life.. well it does crazy things.

  2. Oh, crikey, that’s pretty grim. Hope you can get the new place sorted quickly.

When did you start the new job? I can’t remember how long ago that was and I’m being too lazy to go and check.

    *love & hugs*

    • Things just seem to keep coming and knocking me down. Happens. I guess. I’m in the process of trying to find a co signer for the lease. Hopefully the one that said they might works out.

I started the new job about a month ago, on the 28th of May. Hoping to get things situated so I can get back to blogging soon. Until then, I’ve been cooking dinner for 2 guys most nights. And they like it!

  3. I did ask “Are you ok” I am A REAL Friend 🙂
    Glad you are…
And look forward to you getting your own place and reading your blogs again soon.

    • I submitted an application. I’m waiting to hear back.. well actually I did, but now I need to get a co signer, since I’ve not had an apartment in my name yet… everything else but an apartment.

    • I’ve missed you too. Almost completely settled into my place now. Weird not having anyone around. Still trying to get use to it, but I do have to say, boyfriend helps a lot. It’s like the 2 of u were meant for each other. It’s little things that I’ve never had with anyone else, I’ve been learning to trust.
